What how mindset can do for us

Mindset. Thinking.

Conditioning or reconditioning our mind for maximum success is critical. Identifying and getting rid of limiting beliefs from the past is a must.

Author Robert Kiyosaki talked about when he first began to escape the employee mindset and went to a weekend self development workshop.

The instructor drew this diagram on the board, and basically said, to become a successful person, we need these 4 things. Very different than anything he had ever heard before.

Just looking at this diagram really quickly, we see why many students, and often the “A” students fail in the real world when it comes to money and true wealth.

You see, you might be educated logically and mentally, but if you’re not educated emotionally the fear will stop you from doing what you must do to become a success outside of the system that most get trapped in.

There is something called “paralysis by analysis” which is caused by our educational system punishing people for making mistakes. “A” students are successful really only for just making the least amount of mistakes. Interesting yes?

However, in the real world, people who take action and succeed are the ones who make the “most” mistakes and learn from them to win in the game of life.

That’s why when Thomas Edison was criticized for making 1,014 mistakes before creating the electric light bulb; he said “ I did not fail 1,014 times. I successfully found out what did not work 1,014 times.”

Different way of thinking than most, right?

Many people aren’t a success as Robert says, because they fail to fail enough times. They let fear hold them back.

In Robert Kiyosaki’s book The Cashflow Quadrant, he talks about four types of people that make up the world of business:

E for employee

S for small business or self-employed

B for big business (500 employees)

I for investor

In everyone of us resides one of these quadrants. How do we know which one? The best way to determine this is to look at where most of our cash is coming from.

Many are employees who rely on their paychecks, while others are self-employed. These individuals are on the left side of the quadrant. As we’ll see in the diagram below, each one of these people share common characteristics.

Examining these charts can help you see where you are today, and where you want to be in the future as you choose your path to financial freedom.

Achieving financial success and freedom is possible in each of these categories. But it is much easier and can be achieved much faster in the B and I quadrants.

You’ll see in this chart that 90% of wealth comes from people who control their own lives. They’ve mastered systems and their time.

Anyone can become a part of the wealthy, but there is a limitation wall. And that limitation wall is usually the way you presently think, or your mindset, as we discussed briefly a few minutes ago.

You can see a lot of the “symptoms” behind the employee mindset, which is plagued with excuses and a scarcity mentality.

Well known trainer T Harv Eker also paints a nice picture of the overall difference between the mindset between the poor and the wealthy:

MIND SET DIFFERENCES

They work hard for their moneyThey have their money work hard for them
They let fear stop themThey act in spite of fear
They think they already know it all (Have, Do, Be)They are constantly learning (Be, Do, Have)

Simply put, to change your life, and to be successful on the right hand side of the quadrant, you must change your thinking.

Look at the lists above and see which mindset dominate your thoughts.

Throughout this program, we’ll be giving you nearly everything on a silver platter. A powerful proven system, documentation that it works for many people from all walks of life, and top coaches helping you along the way.

But that doesn’t substitute this: You Must Take Full Responsibility For Your Own Results In Business And Life.

No matter how powerful something is, no one can force you to do it. No one can MAKE you change. We can give you the most powerful and luxurious car in the world, but YOU have to learn how to drive, get in the car, put the key in the ignition and drive the distance.

You are the driver of your life. So commit to being a “no excuses” type of person and take personal responsibility for your results in business and life.
Here’s Another Key Mind Shift:

People with the “Employee Mindset” are afraid to take a single step forward, until they see a clearly laid out path in front of them. They need to know ALL the answers first.

Entrepreneurs and the Wealthy jump off cliffs and build the plane on the way down. They get comfortable with things being imperfect. They don’t have to know the next step before they move forward. They go full force forward without having to know all the answers first.

Let that one sink in for a minute…

It’s completely true that your greatest successes will come from something that you feared doing, or you didn’t know what the result would be. There was no clear outcome. You have to learn to detach yourself from the results and fears you have of taking the right actions moving forward.

It’s like walking up a flight of steps to success, except the each step up is in complete darkness. It doesn’t appear until you take the next step forward before you even see that it’s there. It doesn’t appear until the feeling of falling is in the pit of your stomach. The unknown. That’s where the success is.

Trust the system and just do it. The mind can be a treacherous thing at times, so don’t let fears and the unknown hold back your success!
