Mourinho Slams Players After Awful 1st Half Show At Newcastle

The Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho had severe words for his player after they escaped their 4th defeat of the season at Newcastle with a late comeback to
Mourinho’s side fell behind to goals from Ayoze Perez and and Georginio Wijnaldum but restored parity with two late goals from Ramirez and Willian.
According to the Portuguese International, his team’s first half display was one of the worst he’s ever witnessed as a coach.
He said: “In the first half, from 0-10, we were minus one. It was that bad.
“We were so poor, so bad. At half-time I said I was sorry I only had three subs as I wanted to change six.”
Newcastle were cruising home to victory with just over 12 minutes of play left in the game when Mourinho introduced substitutes Ramires and Willian who earned his team a point.
Ramires pull one back for Chelsea with a screamer from over 20 yards before Willian’s late free-kick denied Newcastle their first win of the season and Mourinho said he will now try and understand what was behind their lethargic first-half showing.
“In the second half we played very well,” Mourinho said.
“Ramires and Willian moved the game, they brought more intensity, were much more dynamic. Newcastle could not cope with it.
“I have to try to understand why they can play so bad in one half and so well in the other. We were bad in every aspect of the game in the first half.
“Too many poor individual performances and it was impossible to be a competitive team.”
Mourinho is still waiting for his first league win at St James’ Park, in either of his spells in England. He has drawn three, lost three.

9 types of pastors in Nigeria

Nigerians see their pastors in different ways today. Below are some views as written by a Nigerian:
1. THE FUNKY PASTOR.
Lately, these set of pastor are becoming trending in our dear country, there are Worldly, carnal, ungodly pastors who watered down the gospel to please people.
They take advantage of people, women being their top targeted prey, immorality is the order of the day.
2. BUSINESSMEN PASTORS
These set of pastors are the kinds that seek the ministry simply because of revenue and money making. Much emphasis are laid on finance, prosperity etc as their top priority is making money. They function as the chief executive officers of their ministry and it being run with business principles.
3. THE ORATORS :
The vocational pastors are in the ministry not because God called them, they rather called themselves. The respect and honour accorded to men of God is what lured them in.
They posses great oratory power and verbosity, these great tools, they use to blindfold people.
4. OCCULTIC PASTORS:
Well! These are the people who have no business being in the ministry, but they are there all the same. Some are herbalist and magicians, or simply, they go to this evil forces to get their powers while some are Cult members who claim to be born-again. With these powers, they convince the gullible Nigerians to believe them.
5. POLITICAL PASTORS
We all know them, their kinds were very much seen months ago during the election era. They were once servants of the Lord, but have now gone back to wrong things  as they no longer have time to preach and nourish the sheep’s of the lord, their time is spent running church campaign, meeting upon meetings.
6 . GROWING PASTORS
Rare species in this trying times, just like David, they are men after Gods heart. Called by God, commissioned by him. The ways of the world are not found in these great men of God as they posses truthfulness integrity and honesty, truly, these are the servant of God.
7. THE MINISTRY FOCUSED PASTORS:
Very committed to the ministry works, focused and determine. The work of God top their itinerary and every other things appears secondary.
Their wives are lonely, embittered and not taken care of, of course with their children.
8. SICK PASTORS,
Physically fit but spiritually retarded. They don’t know their left from right and which path to thread, ungodly sinful and wicked.
9. TECHNOLOGY PASTORS:
City to city, nation to nation, making money from the gullible ones. These set uses laptops in replacements of the bible. Adorned with Iphones and other latest technological appliances.
Don’t get me wrong, i am not saying they shouldn’t use these gadgets. No, after all it aids quicken the work of God, but they tend to over use it. They sometimes preach from their homes, through social media e.g Skype, and fly around with luxuries private jet. And are proud owners of them.

Buhari Is Not A Nigerian

Editor’s note: Professor Soremekun analyses , saying that the president is not a typical Nigerian.

Have we really had any novel policy thrusts since Buhari took office?

As I contemplate the Nigerian condition or non-condition, I continue to marvel at contemporary happenings. The nirvana is certainly not here yet. Still, it is possible to discern new ozone in public life. Suddenly, public officials are more responsive.
The refineries appear to be working. Petrol queues, for now at least, are gone. Electricity supply seems to have improved.
And therefore one is tempted to ask: What has happened? Have we really had any novel policy thrusts since Muhammadu Buhari assumed the Presidency of the country? As a student of public affairs, it is possible to answer this question in the negative. Yet, there is new ozone in public life.
It does not take much to appreciate that, what has happened so far is that the president’s reputation and sheer force of personal example have probably struck the fear of God in people who run our institutions.

Buhari’s recent public declaration of his assets

The upshot is that a novel and positive lease of life seems to pervade the land one striking instance here is President Muhammadu Buhari’s recent public declaration of his assets. As we all know by now, these assets are now in the public space.
And if those details are true, then what has been declared should sear the conscience of all past and present public officers, particularly at the highest of levels. Here is a man, who has been in control of vast resources as a military governor, minister of petroleum and a former Head of State.
Yet, all that he could claim to own are houses and lands in places like Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Abuja as well as N30n in his bank account. To be sure, by the general Nigerian standards, Buhari is not a poor man. But by the jaded and conscienceless standards of his peers, he certainly comes up short-at least in materialistic terms.
Some people with warped values are even likely to snigger and ask: Is this the entire worth of this man? Probably yes. But on the platform of morality, very few of his peers can really hold up the candle to him.
And this is partly why, I have dared to state here that, Buhari is not a Nigerian. If he was the typical Nigerian in public life, he would be in possession of trillions, cash wise and non-cash equivalents in other areas like properties and jets ownership.
Even then, the declaration in itself has sparked off implicit and explicit comparisons, which seem to indicate that this man stands out. Indeed, some people with a dark sense of humour or out of sheer wonder and concern have pointed out that the average local government chairman in Nigeria (where else?) is richer than Buhari.
And of course and as we all know, this may well be true. But, what is perhaps much more revealing especially in these times is that other public officials are refusing to be drawn into the ring of public asset declaration. Take our elected governors for instance. Either out of ignorance or mischief, they are saying that there are no statutory provisions which require them to do so. Very much the same bankrupt postures can be observed on the part of the senators and members of the House of Representatives who, by the way, are supposed to be distinguished and honourable.

Why Buhari’s contentions are very instructive

Meanwhile, and as revealed in newspaper reports, Buhari appears to be exasperated by the fact that, despite his attempts to come clean with what he owns, he appears to have opened up another round of controversy on this issue. In a sense, this is only to be expected. Vultures as they are won’t have to feed on something. Which are why, the General’s contentions are very instructive. According to him, in the course of his public life, he has declared his assets four times since 1974. At the risk of being contradicted, I do not think that any Head of State or public official has come forth in this way.
However, for the records, as well as balance, it is relevant to state here that in the recent past, former president Umaru Yar’Adua, and his then deputy, Goodluck Jonathan, respectively declared their assets. But when the latter mounted the saddle as the point-man of our system, and the self-same issue came up, he pointedly and memorably remarked: I do not give a damn! Which is just as well. For in a rather Freudian and self-indicting way, Jonathan was known to declare in another context that some of our leaders behave like motor park touts!
But even then, before I am done, since Buhari has bitten the bullet, it may be useful for other public officials to do the same. I am referring here to governors, ministers, and the invisible army of invincible permanent secretaries. And to President Buhari, he should take heart. After all, my ancestral folk, in their eternal wisdom, have always said that if you indict someone for cooking a bad soup, what will you do to the person who has cooked none?
Last line: I am sure that the hidden dimensions of Buhari’s assets would have been exposed by now if such information was available.

The Modern Kenyan Corps shared photos of the maid on their Facebook page. It was gathered that the maid was caught on CCTV camera cooking for her boss and the family with urine which she had stored in bottles.
The owner of the house had installed CCTV in the house in the wake of housemaids maltreating the children left in their care.
During interrogation, when asked why she used her urine to cook for the family, the maid said she did it to punish the boss for maltreating her.

Woman Brutalises Housemaid With Broken Dish

A woman in Lagos, Esther Bello has been arrested by police officers after she allegedly slashed her housemaid simply identified as Titi
According to The Punch, the incident happened on Thursday, September 24 at Akinsanmi Street, Obanikoro Estate of the state. At about 1am, Titi ran out of the house with a bleeding hand and explained to neighbours that her boss had cut her hand with a broken dish. The neighbours met Bello and tried to inquire why she had brutalised her maid but it was reported that she ignored them. The girls returned to the house afterwards.
It was reported that the neighbours went back to the house by 7am to check on Titi only to discover to their dismay that the wound had not been attended to. The 13 year old maid was still given house chores to do.
The neighbours reported the matter to officers at Pedro Police Division who went to the house to make formal inquiry. However, Bello told the officers that the maid was no longer with her and had gone with a friend to Igbogbo area of Ikorodu. The police did not believe the story and returned with a search warrant. A search through the house revealed that the maid had been hidden in a room, still bleeding. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment while Bello was arrested.
Titus Edgar, one of the neighbours said they were outside when the teenaged maid ran out bleeding.
He said: “We did not sleep early on Wednesday; we were still outside in a bar in the area till 2am. At about 1.30am, we saw the maid run out of the house, while blood was streaming from her hand.
“We observed that the hand was cut deep in three places, and the girl told us that her boss had threatened to kill her if she raised the alarm. When the woman came later, we asked her what was the matter, but she refused to say anything.
“By morning, some of us went back to the house to check what had become of the girl. When we got to the house, the girl was still bleeding and mopping the floor.
“We felt this was unfair and that was when we went to report to the police. When the police arrived, she told them that the girl had run out and was in Ikorodu.
“That was when we began to comb her house before discovering the maid.”
Another neighbour said Bello had a maid who fled the house a year ago possibly due to the treatment she got from her boss.
The welfare of Titi has been taken up by Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team.

This 104-Year-Old Street Artist Yarn-Bombs Her Town, And It Is Amazing!

This is Grace Brett, a 104-year-old great-grandmother that might be the oldest street artist in the world. She is a member of a knitting club known as the “Souter Stormers,” who recently yarn-bombed the towns of Selkirk, Ettrickbridge, and Yarrow in Scotland. This club spent nearly a year secretly planning the street art project. The mischievous knitters covered fences, benches, and lamp poles all across the towns in elaborate knitted art. There were colorful knitted houses, animals, and flowers. (H/t: )

Dollars Disappear From Nigerian Banks

A famous giant rating agency, Fitch Ratings has stated that Nigerian banks are still experiencing shortage of dollar and other foreign currencies despite the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recent attempt to boost liquidity in the banking system.
The Organization explains that the decision by the CBN Monetary Policy Committee to cut the Cash Reserve Requirements on public and private sector deposits from 31 to 25 % would not add dollar liquidity to the nation’s banking system because it releases no additional foreign currency.
On Thursday the agency  released a statement. According to it, substantial government-related foreign currency deposits are exempted from the CRR and have already been withdrawn from the banking system following the implementation of the Treasury Single Account policy last week.
Fitch Ratings explained that the policy decision should provide some additional local currency liquidity into the banking system but around N1.3trillion ($6.5billion) of deposits were sucked out of the banks in September.
Solena Gloaguen, director of Fitch’s financial institutions said: “Lower CRR will not offset the tighter foreign currency liquidity at Nigeria’s banks. A currency split of public-sector deposits is not disclosed but in our opinion, FC deposits are substantial, held up by oil-related deposits. The centralising of public-sector and government-related FC deposits at the TSA has made it increasingly difficult for commercial banks to meet customer demand for FC.Foreign currency availability was already strained in 2015 due to falling oil revenues, CBN action to defend naira depreciation and heightened negative investor sentiment towards emerging markets.”
Fitch also noted that viability ratings assigned to Nigeria’s banks, all in the ‘b’ category, already reflect a wide range of weaknesses, including the increasingly strained FC liquidity position.
The statement concluded: “Key financial metrics reported by Nigerian banks are likely to continue to weaken in the closing months of 2015.”

Jose Mourinho Faces FIFA Sanction Over Comments

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, faces a sanction by world’s football governing body, FIFA, over his battle with the club’s doctor, Eva Cameiro in their opening game of the ongoing English Premier League season.
Supersport reports that the football body’s medical commission will decide on the former FC Porto boss this week, after being under pressure for a settlement by the English Premier League Champions.
The self-styled Special One has since refused to back down from criticism of Carneiro and head physio Jon Fearn, both of who have since been excluded from the team bench, after they went on the pitch to treat Eden Hazard in the 2-2 home draw with Swansea last month.
Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, looks really confused, may be sanctioned by FIFA

With Carneiro having FIFA’s backing in this case, the Chelsea boss faces a heavy sanction after the body’s meeting on Friday.
One of Britain’s top medical lawyers, who has been involved in landmark cases on football injuries, Mary O’Rourke, confirmed that 41-year-old Carneiro will come through in the case against Mourinho.
“It is an important point of principle.
“I would like to see the message go round the world — and I think you will see Fifa on Friday saying the same — they did nothing wrong because their duty was to the player as a patient, their duty was to the referee.
“Their job in the club is to look after the players, and not to run the team and not to be tactically aware,” she explained.

She explained further that clubs have to be even more wary of injuries after the Petr Cech case at Chelsea and Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris’s recent concussion, noting however, that there were signs that a settlement is being discussed without the need for court proceedings by Carneiro or an apology by Mourinho.
According to her: “I don’t think you need to say that Mourinho has to apologise. I think you get the message out there if you have the pair of them back out there on the bench.
“We don’t need to start making people eat humble pie or anything. It is a recognition that they did nothing wrong.”

Djilobodji Was Not My Choice - Mourinho

The Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed he had no hand in the signing of Senegalese Papy Djilobodji.
Djilobodji was signed by the EPL champions on deadline day for a reported fee of £4million but according to Mourinho, the capture of the big centre back was the choice of someone he trust completely.
Djilobodji was however left out from Chelsea’s 25-man squad for the Champions’ League group stage and Mourinho has disclosed why the Senegalese was dropped.

Mourinho said: “[Djilobodji] was not my choice.
“He was the choice of someone I trust completely. That’s the same thing.
“The person that told me Djilobodji could be a fantastic squad player for us is same who said [Kurt] Zouma could be fantastic.
“He’s not in the Champions League squad because if he is, Kenedy and [Bertrand] Traore are not on the list. If they are not, you would ask why. The Champions League is good for their development.

Wow! See what this teen did to a toddler inside an illegal nursery

Police in South Carolina, USA, are investigating a house that functioned as an 'illegal' nursery after a photo showing a 15-year-old toes inside a seven-month-old's mouth surfaced on social media.

According to ABC13, the photo, which originally appeared on Snapchat, was passed around social media and was reportedly taken at the home where the child was being cared for.

The police and Department of Social Services are looking into the home that was operating as childcare service. Police did not say whether the teen was working at the house or was related to the owners of the home but they added that she is not related to the child.

They also noted that the 15-year-old isn't facing any charges.

"Somebody should be apologising, and there should be something done about it," Bridgette Dawkins, a friend of the baby's mother told ABC 13. "It don't need to be pushed under the rug; she needs to be punished." she added.

Man chases away his 4 albino children and wife..after calling them a curse

Salongo Kawuki Bwogere abandoned his wife, 35-year-old Faridah Nantumbwe and his children after she gave birth to the fourth albino child two years ago. Her told his wife that in their clan they did not produce albinos, whom he described as a curse.

He also barred his wife from cultivating on their land. Nantumbwe, now resident in Mugongo, Uganda said she used to live with her husband at Kirume village Gombolola Kasambya in Mubende district where they had their children.

She narrated that after they had the fourth child her husband chased her and vowed to kill her and the children. "Although he decided to chase me away, Bwogere never provided me with transport. He just told me to find my way out of his house.

As a non-stipendiary, I had to appeal to people of good heart to bail me out of my burden of giving birth to albinos. However, through thick and thin I managed to get enough money for transport to take me to my home at Mugongo where I now live with my children," Despite her ordeal, Nantumbwe has vowed not to abandon her children like her husband did.

She is currently seeking financial and any other assistance from people of good will, to raise her children. "After all they are human beings like other children who are not albinos". Faridah gave birth to her first child, Ivan Ssewagudde at the age of 20. She said she was shocked to see that she had given birth to a 'white' child and so was her husband, little did she know what lay ahead.
Next came the twins, Allan Wasswa and Amon Kato now aged 8 years. After she had her fourth child, Joan Kizza Nakabugo, 6, her husband woke up one morning and told her to immediately leave with her children. Nantumbwe has become a case of stigma among her in-laws and the community.

They have branded her unfaithful to her husband else how did she give birth to albinos? "When I gave birth to other children of the same colour, it became worse; people in the community used to gossip about. me all the time. They considered me to be a curse. It is terrible to have children of albinism. I am terrified and I fear for them because they might develop problems as they do not have natural protection from the sun that affects them so much.

As a single mother I do not have money to provide the necessary feeding and clothing to protect them as they have tender skins. I need to monitor them constantly to make sure they do not get sun burnt. Now that the father of my children abandoned us, I appeal to all people of good will to come to my rescue because I love my children and I want to raise them.

They are lovely. I need to feed them properly and take them to school to have the necessary education, because they have the brains and they are intelligent. My husband’s family members also branded me a 'mother of ghosts'. So I have nowhere to turn to other than to people of good will and to the Government. Nantumbwe revealed that her in-laws have a history of albinism.

According to her, before her father in-law passed away last year, he had told her that his elder brother had fathered four albino children. "He encouraged me and said not to get worried as it was hereditary in their family." Unfortunately, he passed on before her husband chased her away.

Nantumbwe currently earns a meagre living from doing peoples’ laundry and gardening. "I feel bad my children are not going to school and sometimes we sleep without a meal or a drink. I call upon President Museveni to come to my rescue as he has always done with many other people in this country, because I am in dire need of assistance with my children.

We have nowhere to live decently," she appealed. She is grateful to those who have assisted. 11-year-old Ssewagudde, the elder of Nantumbwe’s children is also appealing for help. "Our father abandoned us, because he does not want even to look at us. We are a curse to him. We pray God to help our mother so that she provides for us." he said.
